Alison Appleton established her British ceramic design studio in 1998. She has seen her designs sold in major department stores around the world including, John Lewis, Harrods, Marks & Spencers, Crate & Barrel, Anthropologie, Zara Home, Williams Sonoma, and many more fabulous stores.
Alison has also collaborated with many national and international textile and ceramic design studios and manufacturers. Since 2002, she has been working closely with La Cafetière and has been the creative force behind numerous products, including Lexi fine china cafetière, Malay teapot and Coco stove top chocolate pot.
In 2008, Alison together with Sidney Huang created life concept that fuses contemporary design with traditional materials and sophisticated craftsmanship from the Fujian province, where exquisite ceramic have been produced since the Song Dynasty (c960-1279).
